Today, during PT, her therapist told me to anticipate her having a leg brace as well as maybe needing a walker to walk. While I'm sad by this, I'm not surprised. It's hard to let go, though, of the thought of her playing rugby with her big brother, or chasing her big sisters down the sidewalk...is that even possible with CP?

Hope has CP. There. I said it. Well, typed it, anyway. I think I've been in denial ever since we got her, because she's been doing SO WELL, you know? But finally, I'm ok with admitting it.
Today, during PT, her therapist told me to anticipate her having a leg brace as well as maybe needing a walker to walk. While I'm sad by this, I'm not surprised. It's hard to let go, though, of the thought of her playing rugby with her big brother, or chasing her big sisters down the sidewalk...is that even possible with CP?I truly am ok with all of this.... it was just a reality check, I guess.
