Superfood Bundle! 3-Pack of Spirulina, Acerola & Nutritional Yeast Review!

I had the pleasure of trying this unique (to me, anyway!) product bundle!  I've been living in the land of processed foods for a number of years, now.  It's just too easy to run through the drive through of a fast food restaurant, when the chronic pain of fibromyalgia is too bad, or the kids have sports, there's always some excuse or reason why it's hard to eat healthy or cook a balanced meal.  I have been wanting to eat clean AND actually cook, for a while now, but I need to get my body to feeling better first.  This is a good place to start!

I am working with Sari Foods to review three of their products for you.  I want to tell you what I learned, what I liked, what I didn't and what I'm willing to do, for my health.

I ordered my 3-Pack Superfood Bundle of Spirulina, Acerola and Nutritional Yeast from Amazon.  It arrived quickly, because I'm a Prime member.  I love Amazon Prime!

Sari Foods Nutritional Yeast: Sari Foods Nutritional Yeast is naturally comprised of 50% protein (a complete, bioavailable and vegan source), over 20% fiber, contains all 18 amino acids and 15 different minerals (including iron, selenium and zinc) as well as a natural vitamin B-complex and Beta-glucans (known for their extreme immune enhancing properties plus their ability to lower bad cholesterol.

It's nutty, salty, cheesy and to me has a hint of a spicy flavor to it.  I was just eating it out of the bag.  I don't think that was the purpose!  It was THAT good.  After doing that for a little bit, I decided to put it on my Arby's curly fries (I told you we hit the drive thrus often!) I also tried it on eggs (amazing), tator tots (the kids never suspected), macaroni and cheese (delicious) popcorn (better than salt!) a tossed salad (excellent!) spaghetti as an alternative to grated parmesan (it was quite close!) Needless to say, I see Nutritional Yeast becoming a regular item in my pantry.  I had so many uses for this product that I know no matter what I prepare (or bring home) a sprinkle of nutritional yeast will be added to it for flavor and nutrition.

The benefits of Nutritional Yeast are phenomenal.  It can help you optimize your health, lose weight naturally, fight aging and free radicals and help you fight fatigue, brain fog, irritability and depression, to name a few.

Sari Foods Acerola: Organic Vitamin C Powder by Sari Foods - 100% Food Based from Acerola Cherries - Non-Synthetic & Naturally Occurring - This Vitamin C is not made in a Lab but is 100% Natural from Organic Superfood Cherries in the Amazon - 58-day Supply of 500mg of Natural Vitamin C.

The benefits of Organic Vitamin C Powder are wonderful.  It can help you reduce the severity and duration of colds.  It can help reduce wrinkles.  It can guard against disease.  These qualities and many more make this a wonderful product.  It is available at Amazon.

Sari Foods Spirulina:  Organic Spirulina Powder: Whole Food Multivitamin (16oz) - 100% Natural Source of Protein, Calcium, Vitamin B12, Iron, Magnesium, Selenium, Chlorophyll and Other Plant Nutrients | Nature's Daily Multivitamin.

This one I looked at and wondered, what on earth can I do with this?  I just had no idea.  I hopped on to Pinterest and started looking and there are a ton of recipes that look really good!
You can sprinkle it on popcorn for a fun treat!  You can make Spirulina icecream made with coconut milk! There are many other fun ideas that I found that are worth trying!
I'm not so afraid of it now!

Spirulina is a 100% Whole Food Based source of more than 100 nutrients, including Protein, Calcium, Essential Amino Acids (Gamma-Linolenic Acid - GLA; Omega 3, 6, 9's), Iron, Beta-Carotene, Chlorophyll, Antioxidants, Folate (known in the synthetic world as Folic Acid), Phytonutrients and Prebiotics.

You can purchase it at Amazon as well.

I hope you enjoyed this informative post about these interesting Superfoods!  I enjoyed sampling them!
